Brief: Investigate a subculture.
This is a series of illustrations based off personal photographs taken at the 2011 NYC marathon. 10 mock ups of the illustrations were created and placed in real space and to scale. They are placed on thin sheets of glass throughout photographs I took in Central Park along side a "reason/motivation for running." The pieces of text are quotes from 4 marathon runners who participated in the race.
